Lightning solenoids.......
Finally! Its in!
My old fuel solenoid was on its last leg, so I got a new one. Its an NX Lightning noid with bottom exit and carbon fiber top. Man its HUGE! LOL......compared to the puny mainline solenoids, this thing is like 2 or 3 times bigger! Now I see why they flow 300 hp. The exit on the bottom is alot bigger than the tiny little exit on the other solenoid. The bottom exit solenoids flow alot better and the n20 hits harder now than before. I am thinking this is because the fuel is getting into the motor alot quicker. Should get rid of some lean spike.....
Only thing I cant figure out is, why does this thing have a bypass port on the fuel solenoid??? I tried putting my fuel safety switch in that port, but it does not work. That port only gets fuel when the solenoid is open, so I cant figure out what its for...I could install an electronic fuel pressure sensor in that port, mount the gauge in a pillar pod, then I could see exactly what fuel pressure is flowing through the solenoid while on spray.....
Cant wait until I get the nitrous and purge solenoids!
