Default Frpp sc?

Anyone ever seen or heard of this sc? A friend I have @ Ford said he'd sell me one for $1700.00. I looked it up @ Fordracing and it claims 55+hp@6psi on a non-pi head 2v. He CLAIMS they've(svo that's who he works with) seen 80+ on pi head, stock 2v. He's going to fax me a copy of a dyno that was done on a bone stock 04gt. Said the tg curve is off the scale @ 1500-3750rpm.

Hmm, I get dealer cost on that too. I could probably have one for pretty cheap.

dayum...$2450 for the supercharger manifold..and then you gotta buy the correct install parts. once said and done you could get a supercharger for about the same $$$ and be making more HP. Its not worth it.

The info page states it needs a hardware kit for pi heads, Brian said for 99+ no hardware is needed. You have to relocate the upper hose and something about mod the alt bracket. I think I may just do it? I'll wait to see the dyno sheet. I just spent $2000 on wheels and tires that should be here in a few weeks. My wifes going to kill me!!:bash: He almost agrees with you spike. It's not that it's cheaper, just smaller displacement and only 6psi.

what do you consider a good supercharger?

this is a roots style supercharger... some people may prefer the instant torque, i know i would because i like autox and the 1/4 mile. centrifugal isnt as good for the road courses imo.

also, from what i was told, this supercharger puts out more hp than a non intercooled kenne bell with both chargers at 6 psi

the hardware kit includes a fuel pump, injectors, alternator relocation bracket and supposedly some other fittings and hoses but nothing major. if you can mod the bracket yourself then just pick up a svt focus pump and some 30# injectors. the rest of the stuff is easy to get just about anywhere.

they wouldnt charge $1100 - $1400 if it were just a bracket

the hardware kit for 99+ includes, inj, bracket, pump and few hoses also, he said no need if I just replace the inj and mod the bracket. I told him to bring it with him when he comes down to FL next month, that way he can help with the install. I'll post the pics and resaults if anyone wants them.

OK, I thought it would. I misread a post and thought someone was saying you have to pay for a separate manifold. I've not seen any of those installed but hell it can't be too bad. Have it ported out before it's installed and slap a meth injection kit on it. That should land some really decent numbers.

Yes, I have one on the way. My friend is bring it. He works for SVT so he will also help install! I got it REAL cheap. It's the take-off they used for testing on a 04. Has four dyno runs and about 200 raodmiles on it. But the price is right. Was 1700.00 but after a few phone calls I only had to pay 1356.00 and already sent the check before anyone could change their minds.

Congrats, people have been running them for a while and seem to love it. Seems like the perfect street car blower.

I havent seen ANYONE with one yet. Show me some links so I can check pics and numbers.

I wonder if its possible to add an intercooled setup to this.

nope, no intercooler setup for this but check out meth injection...

i believe that would work a lot better than an intercooler anyway on this setup.

Surely theres a way to run a intercooler from a KB setup on this thing also.

I've thought about adding one also, or to see if able. Saleen's set up is close and has a cooler. I don't think I'm going to worry too much about it. If Brian says we can fab one then I will, if not, no big deal. He's the engineer!!

i odnt see how the blower is build into the manifold so the compressed air goes straight into the heads. No way you can add a intercooler.
