Hey does anyone know about the type of bottle openers that attach to the bottle nut. ( solenoid type) Any experience with this type.

 

I have the electric bottle opener on my kit. You take the handle off the bottle valve and the opener unit slides down over the top of the bottle. It has a gear that takes the place of the handle. The motor tension is adjustable so you have to play with it a few times to get it right. Works flawlessly though once you get it set up right. It's great for me because my bottle is mounted in the trunk. I have the opener switch mounted in the coin holder...fits perfectly and almost looks like it belongs there. I have a Zex kit though...the NX opener could be different.

 

Thanks for your response. I think i will go with the same set up. After doing more research on the solenoid style openers I think the valve style are more effective.
