As touched upon before it all depends on the running mates. I have yet to make up my mind until that happens.
As far as the economy I started a new thread if you care to discuss

One troops opinion is different then anothers...
My brother is now serving 3 tours in Iraq, while blind in his right eye. He doesn't want to, but considering he's made it a career, he has no choice, he does it more for his brothers over there, not for women, or these peoples civil rights. He said something like "even the good guys blow themselves up" Refering to the Iraq bomb squad in Baghdad, which was wiped out in a 3 week period, because they detonated bombs, while being way too close. We caused a civil war, really wish people would take a step back and look at that instead of bringing up "well 18 years ago he gassed kurds" 18 years ago, we could've killed Saddam, we left him there for reasons.
I love my firearms, I'm an avid hunter, as well as a believer in using a firearm in self defense, when necessary.
With that being said, if someone came knocking at my door to take my guns, I would use my right to fight a corrupt government going against my right to bear arms. I'd probably lose, but thats fine, better then just backing down.
Trust me, I don't believe in the gun laws.
We're going to be taxed, regardless of whos in office, with the deficit on hand, how will we not be taxed?
- Yet another reason to pull out of Iraq. I'm all for Bin Laden, find his ***, leave Iraq.
Drill here in the states? Oh we do, trust me. And there isn't an oil shortage. I live in a fairly large oil producing county, and while the rest of the country faces work shortage ect, we are still building. My grandfather is also a treasurer for the petroleum union, he sees whats going in and out. Oh, not to mention the proposed project for a refinery expansion here locally which will produce an extra 2+ million gallons of gasoline and diesel per day.
I am also one of those god awful union workers, you know, the ones that do the work at schools, hospitals, government buildings, power plants, including wind, solar, and nuclear.
There is a party that wouldn't mind abolishing my union, and the rest of them while they are at it. I don't see why having rights as a worker is a major problem. Especially when I've got healthcare, retirement, and a very nice wage, and with every chance I have I'm buying AMERICAN MADE.
I'll be voting for Obama.

At least the Dems have offered to get us out Iraq. Mcain would probably want to win the winless war. And at least Hillary will have the Bill to help her figure out some things. Hell, he Was president for 2 terms. And as much as I hestitate to say this, He did an Ok job. Not stellar, but our country, as a whole, looked alot better during his term. I hope Hillary stays the course, But she is gonna need some serious good luck..

Soaring,
If yer calling Rebelyell a "young guy" your first car must have been a horse and buggy. Believe it or not, not everyone here is a teenager.
One thing i have clearly learned in my years that age is hardly a prerequisite (and hardly ever a gauge) for wisdom
But of course im sure yer right, i mean hey, why pay attention to the big gaping chasm down the road, stay the course, world be damned! If we ignore the problem maybe it will go away!
lol...
EDIT: No offence rebel. lol.

If Obama is elected, and actually takes our troops out of Iraq immediately, the Iranians will attack Israel, Iraq and Kuwait. They will control the oil fields in most of the middle east and you will be paying 20 dollars for a gallon of gas and 6 dollars for a loaf of bread. You young guys had better get your head out of where the sun doesn't shine and vote for McCain. As far as Bill doing a good job, our country was attacked several times under his watch, and during his watch the Alqaeda planned the 9/11 attack. There have been zero attacks on our home soil since 9/11, and you can thank W for that. Hillary is out of it anyway.....
iranians won't touch Israel..it'd be suicide... they are armed with american made planes, missles, weapons, and training, and they are ruthless they will answer to no one. Its said if Israel was closer to our size, they'd whip our ***.
They have been conducting "war games" flying their planes out a couple hundred miles, and flying back, it just so happens, the distance that they are flying, is the same distance to the capital of Iran.
Bill did an amazing job, our economy was the best even my grandfather had ever seen, and multiple attacks? By an outsider? Name a few. Alqueda planned 9/11 for YEARS the simple fact of it all is George Dubya was informed, and no precautions were taken, however, I can't put full blame on him, no one else did either. Its only been seven years, why come here, when they can blow up our military over there.
Your logic is retarded, Osama isn't in Iraq, hes sitting in the mountains around..Palestine? Pakistan? Whichever hellhole it is.. while we are fueling a NOW civil war in Iraq..
Oh ya, can't forget the multiple credible sources that say "Our country is no safer now then it was on 9/10" One of which who has seen combat and knows the military very well.
