my winter pos beater
1987 dodge ram charger
its a pos on the outside but it runs good, and pretty clean on the inside. ive got to clean it up inside a little. its got a 318 with 3 speed auto. power windows, 4x4, even cruise control, delay wipers, the cream of the crop in its day. im gonna mask some stuff off and re(spray)paint it black or something dark. HAHA ill repaint it DSG! ill be the new dsg member!
mustang gets detailed in+out thursday and put away wednesday night.

Looks like a fun ride actually. Me living in the country that is how I see it. You always see trucks like that come out about now because of hunting season starting. Ever take it off any sweet jumps?

My personal beater:
95 F150 - E4OD Auto - 4.9L Straight Six - Long Bed - Dual Tanks...that's pretty much it. No carpeting, power windows, or fancy stuff like a headliner. 300 Cubic inches of pure work truck...no options 'cept the auto and long bed.
Runs like a champ at 189,000 miles.

Not sure if I am going to put my stang "away" for the winter this year. I may keep it ready for any, decent dry day that might come up. I only save $30 - $40 on insurance anyway. The thing is fun as hell to drive when the roads are dry (and free of salt) and it is cold as hell.
I don't have a winter beater, just an SUV and a minivan to drive anyway besides the stang.

Nah, I'd rather not have to go through a hurricane every other weekend.
Besides, then I wouldn't get to beat the hell out of my truck on sloppy, salty roads
