Default The Beast is Almost There. New Pics.

Got the alternator wired up and installed and that belt back on. Got the upper radiator hose modified and connected (no thermostat for right now... can't find it). Got the TPS wire tapped and connected to the methanol kit, got the relay connected and main power wire for IC pump run. IC pump bracket is almost done. Got the throttle cable installed and nearly finished with the new bracket for it.

I gotta finish those 2 brackets, install a new fuel pump, replace 1 fuel hose fitting with a 90deg, add radiator coolant, IC coolant, fill the methanol/water tank, test all the electrical, check for fuel leaks, start it up.

Here's the engine bay as it sits now

And a quartering view for some perspective.

EDIT:
Intz: I want a 2011. And I want to retire early. Both happen if I sell this car relatively soon. Only the latter if it takes much longer than a year to sell it.

yes, the kind with a hole in it for now.

Incredible! Really awesome. I know that a 2011 is way classier inside and out, but the pull you feel in that car will probably be the thing you miss most, huh?

I started the mods the day I bought it off the showroom floor, literally. It took about 3 years to finish the suspension, brakes and the usual bolt on parts. The engine took another 2.5 years to piece together and get installed, the headers took 8 months, the blower has so far taken 8 months. Actually... there's a much more accurate timeline on my web page... www.54stangs.com and there's at least 2 vids of it running, though without the blower.

Coming VERY soon. It's only a days work or so from being able to fire it up and drive it down to the tuner. I'll try and fire it up this weekend and get a vid. It's gunna run like *** probably till I tune it but we'll see.

EDIT: and thanks for all the positive guys. means a lot.

I will miss the **** out of the car, especially the way it pulls so fiercely.

it's bolted and the flanges were welded down after that. So both.

Very nice, I'm jealous. Kind of wish I could have both cars, but I guess we'll see what happens. I am curious to how come you've done so much, but yet it's not really pushing that much.

you see... that's why you shouldn't be allowed to know or discuss dyno numbers until you actually understand what they mean. If you knew what the numbers it's putting out meant, you'd have never posted that.

It's putting out a **** load more than you understand because you're looking at peak numbers at 5250 rpm. Not at the 315lbs of tq it makes on average from idle to redline. No you're worried about peak numbers without a referenced RPM which don't mean ****.
