Default Almost There Yall!!!!!

ok yall almost there

as yall can see that i only have one more bolt-on left in which that last one is the gears/tlok/friction modifier/gear oil/rebuild kit

i just ordered the BBK 56mm TB from AM (thanx for the discount code NICK) and i should be getting it this coming monday and once i get it ill be installing it the same say i get it (of course, lol) but ill make sure i take pics and eveything. Once i get the gears and all i will start working on the internals, which are Stage 3 heads, p/p upper and lower intake manifold, cam, forged pistons, rod, rings, etc...

And while going threw the stage of buying the internals ill be concertrating on the fuel stuff too and then maybe lowering it and new struts/shock (but ill be buying the cheap one's soon cuz i needs sum real bad)
And once all of the internals are done bring on the (soon yall will see that on my sig) hahahaha cant wait for it and hopefully ill be making about 350hp or more

and ya still a v6

If you are planning to do all that stuff to the engine why not just get a different engine all together go with a built v8. I'm looking at the modular power house built 2v's and just adding a set of stage 3 blower cams, and getting my stock heads ported.

maybe it's just me...but why is that everytime someone with a v6 talks about doing something to their engine...there's always someone who suggest getting rid of the v6 all together and just swapping to a v8. can't the man just be happy with his v6 without everyone pushing for a v8?

.....anywhoo.....sounds cool man. That thing should be sick when you get done!!!!!

Some people dont want a v8 they like there v6. I'll be the first to say you wasted your money on that TB and should of used that for your gear install.

I never said he couldn't...It was just a suggestion, yah he can be happy with his v6. It just makes more sense to do an engine swap since he is going to have to pull the engine anyway. Not only would it have more potential with a v8 it would sound alot better too. v6's with exhaust sound like ricers.

Don't go with "the cheap one's". That will be your first mistake. Never go with cheap parts for your car. Do it right the first time.

Mine doesn't...

Nothing wrong with building a 6, the only justification to get a V8 IMO is if you're currently getting raped on insurance on your V6, and it gets worse gas mileage than a V8, so switching to one wouldn't really change the cost of anything. lol

Hey PcolaV6, get us a soundclip then. What system do you have anyway? My buddy has a '03 V6 and he's saving for an exhaust, but we haven't found a good one yet because they all "sound like ricers".

I just have the mac y pipe catback. It's not ricey at all, but it's on the quiet side.

i dont think my exhaust sounds ricey. its nothing overly impressive, but its way better than that single pipe it started with.

then don't go with the TB at all, and get some quality shocks/struts man. goign cheap on your car is going to cost you a lot more in the long run.

my exhaust doesn't sound ricey at all. See link in sig.

sure my doesn't sound like a V8 but it doesn't have the snap crackle pop sound and never does get high pitched.

ethier way i was going to end up getting it.

gears are the last on my list then its internals and the reason why i got the throttle body was cuz i know that the gears will not show up on the dyno. thats right the reason why i got the throttle body first was cuz im going to put my stang on a dyno then after i get her dyno then i will buy the gears and wat not n go have them installed

If you provide the SC, I'll install it and we'll see what we get.
