Default New Headlights. Need suggestions.

Alright so I installed my new headlights. I ordered VHT Nightshades for the taillights and fog lights.

For some reason I'm not feelin the grille that it has. It just seems like it doesnt go with the flow. I'm looking to get the mach 1 delete kit but I just want to make sure thats the way to go, or see if anyone has suggestions.

Also, is there any way to make the black in the scoops darker?

EDIT: I did a quick edit job in paint that i posted below the pic. The first is with the grille delete, second is if i painted the circle around the pony black

mach 1 grill delte is easiest probably, and u can mask off the hood and spray paint the honeycomb black again, or go to ur local napa or schucks and buy some back to black cleaner

Ditch the honeycomb and go with the Mach 1 delete.

Haha I got ya.

What kind of paint can I use on the Scoop ?

Can I just go to home depot and buy flat (non-glossy) spray paint ?

Yeah i reckon. I've never painted mine, but i would recommend Krylon Fusion paint. It's formulated specifically to bond to plastic. Good luck, and make sure you tape off your hood and scoop really well... you don't want any overspray on them.

Grille: Mach 1 Grille delete.

Hood insert: Meguiars PlasticX or Mothers Back to Black (Get these at any AutoZone/AdvanceAuto/Ect.), don't waste time trying to paint it. If you do decided for some reason to paint it, figure out how to take it off, don't try to paint it on the hood.

PS: If you haven't already done it, SEAL YOUR HEADLIGHTS!!!!!!

Auto Part store, we have them here in Oregon and Washington, besides I think they're in the process of changing the name of it to O' Raillys or something.

IF you want to conserve money for the time being u can do what i did.. the chrome thing around the pony, u can pop it out, and scratch it up really good, and then paint black over it.. I think it looks great. And my idea came from the bullits.. SO until i can afford a mach 1 delete i'm perfectly happy.
