Default Going Cobra style, need suggestions.

Well I dont know if many people have noticed, but I change my mind about my car alot. After seeing a few cobras in my town Ive decided Im gonna buy the cobra front and spoiler, and a gt rear. What I cant decide on are wheels..I was going to use black fr500s when I was planning on a mach1 style but Im not sure how that would look. Im torn between

(18x9)
and
(18x9)
the fr500s are my first choice, does everyone think they will look good with a cobra body?

Also, does the mach1 grille delete fit with the cobra bumper? Im not sure

a v6 with a cobra rear is suicide on these or any mustang forums lol...the gt bumper is cheaper and from what Ive seen is the same except it says mustang instead of cobra. I know the mach 1 is cheaper, seems like everyone with a mustang has the chin spoiler/grill delete style. I wanna do something different and from the prices Ive seen in shouldnt be too bad.

Cobra front $350 + paint - about $500
Cobra spoiler $500-600 from dealer + paint and install - about $1000 Ive heard
GT Bumper $190 painted
GT Side Scoops $150 + paint - $200?
Rims and tires will be around $1500 Im guessing

so about $3400 and my appearance will be perfect :-)

A little off for teh Cobra front..

Cobra front = $289 (where im getting it )
Cobra Chin Spoiler/Air Deflector =$89
Cobra Foglight bezels = $30
Cobra Foglights = $30
Shipping for all of that stuff = around $100
Paint = $200-$400
Realizing thats a crap load of stuff just for a bumper = Priceless

IMO just keep your v6 bumper its more streamlined, and exhuast commming from underneath it looks sweet

The mach 1 chin spoiler wont fit the cobra. Besides, it already has a small lip on it from the factory on the cobra front bumpers. And like springsstangs said, your prices are WAY off. Id say off by at least 1000 bucks. If thats what you were quoted, go somewhere elese.

you should reconsider your purchase.
Summit bumper comes with foglights and the bezel for 350. Shipping Im not sure about, but paint shouldnt be more than 150 probably less, my dads friend is the owner of a body shop in plant city. I can get stuff done for about 1/3 the price of a dealership.

I saw the chinspoiler/air deflector on a cobra today, where are you ordering yours from?

and I know the mach1 chin spoiler wont fit, I wanna know if the grill delete still fits.

I will probably go 01 cobra just because its so much cheaper.

Stock Spoiler
V6 scoops
04 V6 hood

All I have to buy is front and rear bumpers

99 isnt cobra R, 2000 is. And that bumper is very impracticle. My buddy had it on his 03 gt with eibach springs and he couldnt go anywhere. he ended up cracking it right down the middle lip.

Lance, where could I get those polished wheels from (see post #15)? Besides MT, who else sells products for our cars?

Matt, I think what hes saying is if he gets the 99 front, then get the 00R splitter. The real deal uses a 99 front bumper with the lip attached with clips of some kind I think.

Whatever you do...DO NOT get the 95 Cobra R style wheels. They look disgustingly hideous on the 99+ body style.

the 03/04 Cobra wheels or FR500 would look awesome.
