Default I bought a new Mustang

A few weeks ago I sold my 1998 V6 and bought this one.

Its a 2000 Mustang GT.

It came stock with the exception of a K&N Cold Air Intake.

I have not done much to it; it's cold out. I peeled off a couple window stickers/decals. Also it came with the GT badge removed from the back. I decided to take the Ford symbol off, because I never liked that there (Does not go with the red), and replaced it with the GT badge.

Other than that, I have not detailed it, and I ordered some tinted headlights to replace these old cloudy ones. I'm planning on getting a Mach 1 Grille Delete soon as well.

Here are the pictures (I quickly took them on my way out of the house this morning on my cell phone, the sticker in the back window is my parking permit taped on).

Very nice upgrade! How many miles? Manual?

Not a big fan of the GT badge being on the passenger side.. Just looks wierd to me, prob. just because I'm so used to it being on the other side.

Get that spoiler moved back and add a chinny-chin-chin.

GT emblem is on both sides... Always has been like that.

Oh and nice upgrade.. Any major plans for it?

I think he means the emblem on the trunk.

Good upgrade! It's definitely got potential. I love how it's looking "face to face" with the Camaro in that last picture.

I think he meant on the back it is on the passanger side when really it is always on the drivers side. not on the sides of the car

Thanks everyone.

WN, its automatic. I am trying to find someone with a manual car because I'd like to learn. Any advice on how to move back the spoiler? I haven't seen any tutorials on that or anything.

My plans for the near future are:

- Smoked Headlights (Currently in the mail)
- Mach 1 Grille Delete
- Chin Spoiler
- Shorty Antenna (Next few days I'll order it)
- Smoked Taillights (VHT nightshades? idk)

I'll detail it soon, maybe Saturday.

And as far as long term goes, I'd like to get some new gears and an exhaust. I'd also like to get some new rims but I'll wait until it gets nice out for that.

Uhh.. Seriously? Is that supposed to be a joke or are you being serious? I hope it was a bad attempt at a joke...

I of-course was talking about the emblem on the trunk..

Looks like fun, and its free!

What would you say? Reuse one hole, or move it all the way back?

I did the 2 hole one. The spoiler us a little wide and with it moved all the way back it would hang over the gap between the quarter and trunk. I didnt like that look too much. Man, that one thread looks overly complicated. For the 2 hole method I just put some nail polish on the bottom bolts to the spoiler put the top 2 bolts in the second hole of the trunk and marked my drill spots. I did have to dremel a couple things down so it would fit flush but easy mod and looks a lot better.

Do a search on the spoiler moving or pull back, I did it for a old member and it should have pics and what not on here somewhere.

Nice upgrade by the way. That old v6 was kinda haggard lol.
