Thumbs down Why would you do this?

Ok so bear with me. I didn't have my camera in the car today. I was leaving the shop today and I pulled out and I saw this blue 03 Roush Mustang much like the one pictures below. It was facing away and I thought to myself "DAMN that looks hot!" I noticed he had put the stainless steel inserts in the back bumper. I also noticed something else shiny coming off the back.

Well, as I got closer, it was a chrome tow hitch......on a Roush stage 2. Seriously!? No matter what area you are from, if you can afford a Roush, you can afford a truck as well.

Picture the back of this Roush with a tow hitch, I remember someone posting pictures of a GT with Mach 1 upgrades and a tow hitch. If I see it again I'll take pictures...but wow.

It could be so he can put a small trailer on the back of it to carry his slicks to the track.

Ya but there is a back seat/trunk for that. Or a buddy with a truck. This was a old guy by the way. Like 50s.

I fit my snow or summer tires in the back/front/trunk in my convertible whenever I take them to the shop and clean and change them with the seasons.

you can fit 2 tires in the back seat, one in the trunk, and one in the front seat. i've done it many times.

i've got a pair of hoosiers on 19x9's and they fit in the trunk with the back seat down.

i might get a hitch if i get a small trailer so that i could lug around a pair of skinnys too, because i don't have a truck or a friend with a truck that is always willing to come to the track.

My uncle bought his first Mustang from an old guy in his fifties and it had a hitch on the back of it. It was an '87 LX. The guy bought it new because it was a car with an automatic and a V8 that he could tow his boat with and he didn't want a truck. That makes a nice image going down the road.

A Mustang with a hitch for anything than towing track equipment is stupid. I would however love to have a nice little trailer and semi-hidden hitch to pull all my stuff. I have to remove all the trunk linning and back seat inorder to fit all the stuff I take to events. It would be impossible to fit four tires too.

To a lot of people its just a car, a form of transportation, and a form of transportation to move a small trailer around.

not everyone see's it as a Roush Edition, Special collectors car, omg edition.

you never know, he could be filthy rich and thats his piece of **** daily driver.

A lot of people give me **** about my lexus because i treat it like **** but to some people they see it like if its an exotic car, yeah its a Lexus IS but to me thats my piece of **** daily driver car, i never wash it, its all full of door dings, its always dirty, i let everyone eat and smoke in it. And i know if anyone on the Lexus forum ever found out abut it someone would probably shoot me.

my viper and gallardo are my garage queens.

And same applies with my viper, there are a lot of filthy rich guys on the Viper forums that buy vipers just to go track them and destroy the **** out of them on the track.
