As for this thread. Hilarious. This is what I like to read every now and then.

Stephen got banned for making irrelevant posts and always starting fights (which I never actually ever saw). He never "harassed" anyone all he did was just play jokes. There is a difference from perma-banning someone because you don't have enough control to ignore him, to them deserving it.

I can't walk through my work with 200 people just walking up to people I don't like with a Thor Hammer going "BAN-HAMMER!!"....

Everybody keeps saying its just the internet like there needs to be no regulation. I say throw the rules out. Let us post, say, flame whoever we want and anyone who doesn't like what we have to say can "ignore" it and stay out of the thread. I am completely fine with that. Yes, king has a problem with stephen, but me and zig don't. We could care less about him, we are just trying to figure out why a forum has rules if they are not going to be followed and keep this website enjoyable. This obviously isn't my social life since I have been a member for 3.5 years and only have 568 posts.

 

I think what some of you are failing to see is the fact that some of us have been here for years (since April '05) and this is our "home" forum. I don't post @ SVTP or MF or any of those other forums. Hell, the only other forums that I am a regular on is my 2 local clubs, SVTOA and WildHorses and those forums like all local forums are very slow.

I've seen many, many people banned from this place and once they are perma-banned, that's it, there is no coming back.. They banned Greg for the same type of crap, just being an all around annoyance and never let him come back. Same thing for people like Mixedbreed and streetracer. They tried to come back, but were banned again immediately. It seems that little Stephen has got the "in" since he's buddies with Dustin, but then again like Dave said, he may have just signed back up because he knew Dustin would be out of town for a few days and he could come in here and stir some **** up again.

Who knows.. Maybe if Stephen is really a "good guy outside the forum" then he should act that way on the forum? Or would that be too difficult? I'm willing to bet though based on Val's comments earlier in this thread that the whole "good guy" thing has worn off slightly..
