What do you mean? It still has a filter on it. I was just amused by the fact that he spent all of that money on a Shaker setup, but then he hooked up a regular ram air kit to the engine

If you look closely that's the welds holding the various sections together. Not heater duct

those pipes are made by spectre and are quite nice and well made though they heat soak a bit like any metal CAI snorkel. The shaker kit has never been about power, just looks.

I think it's a dead secksy engine bay but the shaker isn't my thing. Having no heat shield around the filter is bad though.

Don't really see anything wrong with it? What am I missing? Looks like a fairly normal S197 with a shaker..

What I was trying to point out with this pic is the fact that the Shaker isn't even hooked up (see the open tube on the drivers side.) He has a Shaker setup AND a "cold air" intake.

well the cai would prolly be less restrictive then the shaker but the look of the shaker is all i would care about also.
