Sorry didnt get a vid cuz my dig camera wasnt working. Pics are from mine n my wife's cell phone

First pull without the tune I got 133hp/192tq

The final pull with the tune got me to 135hp/199tq

After getting dyno tuned and seeing my numbers i was told from one of my buddies that the dyno was under rated.... what a relief

This is what my buddy told me “The dyno you went to is definitely rated low, judging by other cars we've dyno'ed I'd say it's about 40hp less compared to the dyno at Custom Corvettes.” Soon ill be taking it to a dyno shop in town and see what numbers i get

So "im guessing" im around 175hp/239tq to the wheels I wouldnt really know until i get on another dyno (Also i just need to take it to the track to see what's my ET now)

They told me that a cam would of made a bigger difference and i would of seen alot more gains with a tune if i would have gotten it. Well after the tune i noticed a difference on how my stang performed. My engine is so quite that i was going about 90mph and it felt like i doing 65 or 70mph. I kept catching myself speeding. Even though i gained 2hp/7tq to the wheels with the tune, It was worth it cuz it did alot more stuff to my stang

not bad for a 95 V6 Mustang (auto)

When you boost it it will bring it up pretty good. Your Tq seems pretty good already though.

Your not gonna see a 40rwhp difference from dyno to dyno on your car. Numbers don't matter anyhow at the dyno, only number there that matters is a/f ratio. Its the 1/4 that matters. Just do work!

split port would have knocked those numbers up! Just seems like an awful amount of time/money to rebuild a single port 3.8 and come off with 130 horses. At least its up and running again and you got a good deal on that power adder you were able to find

I expected a lot more considering you just rebuilt your engine, I am disappointed. If your happy though then it's all good.

NOTE: matthewneuharth over @ v6p runs a single port - his times are:

9.76@139mph

Turbo Dyno #s 550rwhp and 503rwtq. (pump gas)24psi(track only)
667rwhp and 648rwtq 30psi race gas.

Yea.....may as well throw the split port making more power ect thing right out the window with times and power like that...

I'd still take the split port if I were going to rebuild an engine. That would be like saying why are you getting a 4.3L when you could have made that much power with your 3.8. Because the more the better

Lol, I guess. But thats the fastest 6 around that I know of..and hes on a singleport, to me, theres got to be a decent reason behind it.

Yea, to make that power on a splitport, you'd need less boost.. but on the single theres a better power curve..

I could've built a strong 3.8 motor.. but, overall I'll be getting more power with the 4.3 ..and have a crank that no one has broke (yet)

But ya, the v6 guys don't make shitloads of power in general, especially NA.. but.. the boost we throw at them compensates pretty well.

Keep on doin what you're doin bro, and see how it runs at the track. Low to mid 14's would probably show a significant improvement.

I'm glad you have the time and money to rebuild too. I keep throwing the idea around because I love how my car looks and drives, but when the time comes I'll probably just buy a Mach...
