The front end on the new one looks okay. I hate the rear. Nothing that I'm too impressed with so far, but the jury is still out and I'll decide whether I like it or not when the real ones arrive. I agree with 3.8for the win. The 99-09's are where it is at... for now.
Don't you have an 05+?

THANK FSM That they are getting rid of the circle vents in the middle! That pissed me off so bad, just looked so damned stupid! They may be functional, but they just look so stupid. The interior honestly looks alot better than the last gen. but it certainly still looks a little... Bland.

Still mad that they didn't do a fastback..

Yes, but what does that have to do with anything?

I disagree. I like the circle vents, but I do not like the rectangular ones. I don't like the chrome around my AC vents now. I would have liked them to be polished like the rest of my dash. The chrome does not look right and gives off too much glare. I think they should do away with the textured dashboard tops. It has a glare from hell in the sun.

We could call this owner bias lol

Us new edge and SN95 types that don't have a S197 have a less biased opinion than you would. Similar to how I would say I prefer the 99-04 models over the 94-98s (because I have one, duh ).

Really? You sure about that?

My favorite body style is the 99-04's, 05-09 come in second. I got an '05 because I could not find a 99-04 GT with lower mileage that was in good shape in my area. My dream car is a black '03 Cobra, and I also a foxbody Mustang.

I did not say that I didn't like the new style. I just don't like the rear of the car. Also, I'm keeping in mind that these are artist renderings of the 2010 Mustang, not the actual car. The picture of the actual car is too camouflaged to be able for me to see anything that would make me go 'wow'. Things could change a little. I'd rather wait until I see that actual car until I make a definitive decision.

Chances are, I'll love the damn thing when it actually comes out.

Yeah the artist renderings don't mean anything and they shove foam and **** under those tarps to throw people off.

I like how the 01-04's look over the 05-09s (talking about GT's here) but performance wise, the S197 is so much better.

Really? I didn't know that! [/sarcasm]

In all seriousness, the covering on the real car looks like a damn dalmation. I speak for only myself when I say that I'm not drawing conclusions from that or an artists rendering. I don't give a damn if they shove dead babies under that tarp or not. What you are seeing from the renderings is what someone else thinks the car would look like... you are seeing the car through someone else's eyes. They may be close, right on target, or way, way off, but that doesn't matter to me. All I'm saying is that I'm going to wait until I see the real car, uncovered, undrawn, to make my decision. I don't understand what is so bad about that and about me having an opinion.

Before I got the mach, I was looking at the 197s and after driving my 99 sixer to the lot, I sat in an '05 GT and it looked huge on the inside too. I wasn't too overwhelmed by the size of the exterior, but with how much more room and un-cramped I was in the 197s.

More pics guys! It looks really nice from what I can tell, the antenna in the back of the car is an interesting touch. All in all it just makes me not want my car even more.

I like the front, it looks mean. The rear doesn't do it for me, though.
