So story goes about a year ago maybe longer i bought gunmetal saleens. After buying them i realized i didnt want gunmetal anymore so over the last year ive been trying to sell/trade em. I couldnt find a deal i liked so its time for plan b.Just paint em black. Lucky enough for me i have a buddy that works at a body shop, he said he will do the spraying for me if i do the prep work.Good enough deal for me.So today i went and got them all sanded down so he can spray them.I ordered tires and springs a few days ago so they should be here soon.

I forgot to bring my camera along today so all i had was my phone for pics.I'll be sure to bring my camera with me tomorrow.

Another crappy update..I havent even seen them in person yet. My buddy from the body shop sent this picture to my phone earlier today.Ill be picking them up and getting the tires mounted tomorrow. Springs came in by the way,gonna try to get them in on my next day off.

Nice! be sure to let whoever installs the tires know that its paint and not powder coat because paint will chip alot easier then powder coat will. Good luck and be sure to be careful with those painted wheels.

 

Sorry for no pics yet. Rims and tires are on..I was going to take pics but im going to try and get my springs in tomorrow.It just looks silly without them.I will post pics tomorrow springs or not. I PROMISE

i had black saleens on my silver GT and i liked them. but i took them off for my drag setup that i am running all summer. so we put my black saleens on my buddies black 02 GT 03FObra and damn they look sexy on a black car. way better than they ever looked on my silver GT.
