Default Sick of my stance!

Im sick of my stance!! I still have 17" rims with 245/35/17 all around now, but that's gonna change to 18's.. but what can i do except take out my iso's?? I need help! The Eibach pro gave me 1.5 drop all around! Should i blow another $200 on springs to get the 1 inch in the front that the h&r gives over the eibach's?? Will having bigger tires and going up in rim size help any with my ride height or it doesn't matter!? I don't know what to do guys! OR SHOULD I JUST LEAVE IT AS IT IS....

I am pretty good with staying away from drops, bumps, or mean curbs so i want a mean stance now...

what to do??? here are some pics.. i think it looks okay but could be better! Thanks in advance

if you really want to change your stance and truly improve your suspension...do a full MM coilover kit with MM valved bilstiens. its about 1400 but im sure that it would justify the price. you could also get someone to CAREFULLY cut your springs a 1/4 to 1/2 coils.

i love the way the stance is, though i wish that the rear of my car was a lil more level in the rear as the front. i plan on setting up my coilovers to about the same ride hight as i have now

and dude...take out your front iso's....it will drop another 1/4 inch and that makes all the difference.

just compare the difference w/ isos out:

Driveway pics suck purestang, your stance is actually a lot lower than that (if you have iso's out).

Stang, take out your isolators, it'll get a little lower.

i have blistein shocks/struts in now along with the eibachs.. if i went with the MM front coilover kit how much would it lower the car??

Don't like the idea of metal against metal guys, have you had any problems or noises, since you have taken them out?

if you already have bilstien shocks/struts...then all you need is the front/rear coil over kit....it will probably cost around 900. the ride height is fully adjustable.

sounds good, but what if i just need the front lower more?? go with just front coils, will it affect the ride??

AND WHY THE HELL AINT NOBODY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT COILOVER'S, STRAIGHT WASTE OF MONEY TO BUY SPRINGS IF I CAN GET ADJUSTABLE COILS... whatever!

I cant find the adjustable coilover kit on MM website or stangsuspension.com?? Any links would help alot thanks!! Or am i looking at buying the whole front/rear kit... cause i dont see just a front adjustable kit

Won't going from 17's to 18's fill in some of the space from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well? While this of course wouldn't actually physically lower the car, I would think it would give the appearance of being lower, just because the top of the tire and bottom of the wheel well would be closer together.

yeah because right now i have 245/35/17's on all four tires, and will be going with 265/34/18 front/ 295/35/18 in the rear, so im sure it'll help with wheel gap and not actually lower the car as you stated! thanks guess ill wait until i get the new rim/tire setup and see what the wheel gap is like! needed another opinion thanks RCTrucker7... too bad your all the way in springfield! could meet up!

getting an 18" rim shouldnt because the tire height should be the same. so a 17" rim and an 18" rim will look have the same overall tire size. this is why 18's use a lower profile sidewall...

so a 245/45x17, a 275/40x17 and 265/35x18 should have about the same tire height.

and another reason your wheel gap is so large is because your running a 245/35x17 combo...stock tire size is 245/45x17. that can make all the difference.

yeah true... so you have any clue to how much the coil over's will lower it? Another 1'' or 1.25" inches? Also those are the adjustable ones, am i correct?? I just want the front a tad bit more lower, I am going to get some MM control arms, for the rear anyway and it'll lower it another inch! thanks for the links PureStang

Just spend the money to get a fully adjustable coilover kit.

If you don't want to go that route, get some adjustable lca's, that will allow you to lower the rear even more.

Taller/wider wheels and tires will change the way those springs look.
