im just trying to help all those other kids out there like me. So on my 2000 stang, my headlights got all messed up, like they developed a slightly yellowish layer over the plastic resulting in my bulbs not shining through properly. Looked like this...

I have a friend who is a mechanic at Volvo and he gave me this little kit that looks like this.....

It worked sooooooo well! This is what my headlights look like now....

So basically i dont care if you all buy anything, its just that if you have that problem, look for a kit like that, i had my doubts but the stuff actually worked. Hell if you can find some, steal it haha

Sounds like a pretty good kit. I know there was a write up about headlight restoration, but I went the easy route. I got the smoked headlights. Love the look so much better. Thanks for the info. though.

My brother tried that a while back and Im sure it will work if your headlights are not severly damaged. It did not work for my brother and he just got another set of used stock headlight cheap on ebay. THe only way to fix this issue is not to let it get that bad by covering up from the sun and or cleaning them with plastic cleaners every few months.
