Well guys, I havn't been on these forums for like a year ever since i lost my last GT...im back now 
Last night got myself an 01 black on black GT with only 30K miles.
Just wanted to say hey again and show the like 2 pics from the dealership.

thx , so far i love how it looks, drives, and the looks i get from other people lol.My first decision will be going for the all black look...the chrome/black look....or gunmetal grey/gret stripe look... but i got time

Ive only seen 2-3 mustangs with black bullets out of the thousands of mustangs i have seen.
just because you see them occasionally on the internet doesent mean squat. unless the internet is yer life, personally, i preffer the real world, and in the real world, you dont see many black bullets, you see more chrome and FAR more anthracite (however the **** you spell it) bullets than black.
if anything, anthracite are the overplayed ones.

Around here, there are black mustangs with black bullitts galore. You got any show and youll see them everywhere.

personally i think yer probably just upset that you never bought a set.
But dont worry man, you mustang is completly not overplayed. Not at all. With the origional idea of the mach 1 grill delete, mach 1 chin spoiler, and cobra brakes, and wing removal your car truly stands out as a testament of pure origional individuality. You have definatly expressed yourself with your mustang as none before you ever have.
And if you say black bullets are overplayed well it must be true because you are the absolute authority of mustang appearance. And here i was ignorantly thinking that a lot of people actually buy the black bullets because they look so damn nice.

Eh.. F the bolt-ons.... i got tired of them since they dont do a whole lot. The only performance i would be interested in upgrading for now is the suspension. If the home life with the kid would stabelize enough for me to get enough time to do those damn puzzle illustrations out i might finally see a good chunk of change and that extra 2k would go a long way towards supercharging her. Then i would finally be pushing enough HP on my auto that my lousy driving skills wont matter and you can see how nice the back of my mustang looks while im messing with the stereo and chatting on the phone.
but then again, she aint supercharged untill she is supercharged. So i guess ill just have to continue to enjoy driving her as she is.

Welcome back, and put whatever wheels you want on. You have to look at them every day. Black bullitts are only overplayed on the internet, and there is a reason for that. Quite simply...they look good. What mustang wheel isn't played out? FR500's, bullitts (regardless of color), cobra r's, take your pic. Any mustang related wheel you choose you can find on a car on this board. I think you should go to chip foose and have him do a one off set of wheels for you that he will never reproduce. Now that would be kick ****

Lol, and the thing is IF i did the black rims, i was going to do FR500 anyways and if i went chrome/black, i was gonna do the basic chrome DD bullits.
but uh thx for the welcome and the little chat ya'll had ((only performance imma be able to do to car is prolly nothing past bolt-ons anyway and full exhaust))
and then, if i do all black, with fr-500s, should i just tint my windows, get tinted headlight/rearend light covers and just be all black, or could i pull off the chrome mustang back + bullit gas door + all the chrome pieces inside? or better of having chrome bullits with all the chrome accessories?

I was just at a show yesterday with 185 cars....all sorts of stuff. Things people comment on with my car consistently: rims, blower, and sound of exhaust.
Not another car there with Black DD, but only a few Mustangs.
I really don't see the DD Black except on line.

i love the FR500's tho, my choice of rims is going to be either the black fr500's or chrome DD bullits...but i got time to decide.
around here i rarley see anything past stock rims where i live...so either or will be an eye opener around here

I love black cars with nice looking black rims..I can say that ANY black car I may own ..WILL have black rims...I just love the look..as you can see..My stang has black rimz as well..and I get nuttin but compliments on how awsome my car looks.
