Wow guys.. Cut him some slack..
I think he knows that he is on a Mustang forum, but he's been here for a long time.. Why are you guys bashing him for being overweight? Just bash the car, you guys are getting way too personal about this.
He got a car the HE likes, and doesn't need any of our approval for that.
I think he's just a target for most of you because he's young, overweight, and doesn't have very good grammar while typing.. I mean seriously, when shad0ws got his GTI he never got half of this ****..
I really hope you guys don't speak to others like this on a regular basis, I realyze that this is a forum and people talk **** all the time, but damn.. This just seems way over the line.

Dude, I don't have a problem with you being on here, but contribute to Mustang related things. As far as I've seen Shadows isn't constantly posting pictures of his car. You have a Civic Si, congrants. Personally I would never pay $30K for a civic, I think it's ridiculous. And learn to type, speak, or whatever. It gets annoying trying to figure out what your saying.

I was on your side in the beginning of this thread because the 07 SI is a nice car, but its not a 30K car. Thats beyond retarded.
You could have gotten a MUCH better car than that for 30K. Hell for a few grand more you could have gotten a new G35.

I had seen the car last saturday, when I first saw it I thought he had upgraded the front bumper (because I had parked before he arrived) but no, its a full on Si with (at the time) less than 100 miles. He let me test drive it first thing, its fast. Not super fast, and not as fast as my nearly stock GT. But this may seem like a joke, but it is really fun/weird when Vtec kicks in. I have driven other cars with variable valve timing (not the new 05+ GTs, but other cars) and they are nothinglike the new Si. Once you hit ~6k+ (the only place it makes power) it flies. Sunday night we did a little race to see what type of margin his car would lose by, and it wasnt that much. I honestly think with a tune (lowering Vtec) and anything other than a perfect launch on my part, that he would take me.
As for the price, yeah, 30 large is a bit much, but thats what he paid for a brand new Si with all the HFP upgrades (new intake/exhaust/rims etc) It actually sounds pretty nice, not too loud like the fart cans you see around. With that kinda money, I too would have gotten something different, most likely a 350z, but different strokes for different folks... a stock 350z doesnt get nearly as many looks as his Si does, and **** he is 18 so thats what he is looking for. (as it turns out nissan is releasing a real head turner this summer, the Nismo Z... looks sweet)

I would be more inclined to turn my head to check out a 350z driving by then a Si Civic. Not that 350z's are a rarity around here, but your not going to get girls throwing their panties at you cruising up in a civic. i'm sorry, it's not gonna happen. If I was living at home and didn't have rent to pay for, I'd be driving in a modded 04 cobra easily. You spent way to much money on that thing. The 2000 Civic Si was only like $19,000 brand new. I can't see what would make that car a good 10K more.
