This is a NOT FOR PROFIT event, and will have a SHOOTOUT (Import vs Domestic),a Racecar/exotic car/motorcycle/ and CARSHOW on the grounds. Please help us spread the word to fellow racers in the midwest. We all Thank-you for helping us. We are expecting crowds of 10K, and if you want to inquire about vending/sponsoring, please inquire!

I'm almost positive that Cobra R was photoshopped into that pic.

 

To the best of my knowledge that Cobra R was definitly there.

 

Doesnt look like it to me. I don't think someone would spend that much time doing the shadows and even the guys reflection in the hood just to get an R in the pic when there is a G350, several Mach's, and a Cobra and that Viper. Doesnt make sense.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes it is a GREAT time!! You should come out and "play". there are people coming in from Florida and Colorado to play. It is a "streetcar" challenge, and anyone can register to race. Love the avatar by the way! Registration opens January 1st. hope you toss your hat in the ring, and have some fun with us!! I giggled when I saw the srt-4 lined up on the domestic side... its really a covert spy for the imports I swear...

 

because the punk azz highway patrol/local cops would bust every single car leaving the track for illegal mods! ha ha ha.....I hear that's been happening a lot at Sacramento Raceway. The altamont speedway has different owners and they happen to be in my office one day so I offered my thoughts about their being no drag tracks around here.....anyway, they told me they plan on building a 1/8 drag track and some other stuff....hopefully that will happen, but there is 1 neighbor that is close to the race track that just keeps causing problems.

 

You guys had the P51 on the wrong side, the P51 should have been on the american cars' side and the jap plane on the right side..

Am I the only one who noticed that? lol

 

Great eye!! You are correct. We didn't place the planes, they were rolled out by the airport SLOWLY, and we had to line up FAST, as the sun was going down. Not many people caught that.

 

Which car ran the quickest 1/4 time or was that not part of the event?

 

I have the list of top speed winners in all events, just have to dig them up. The photo with the planes is from the last event, which was held in June of this year. The cars ranged from STOCK to OMG!! Anyone can register to run, not just the ones with expierence. It is a "team" effort. One side working together to dethrone the other side. (plus class battles). It is on the other site how it works. If you click on WW FORUMS, you can see all the chatter about it there.

Looks like alot of fun and only 7 hours away

Oh yeah and correct me if I'm wrong but that second plane has Russian Markings on it. I don't think it's a Zero either
but really who cares looks liek a ton of fun and for a great cause.

 

You sure can come out. sign ups are Jan1st, and we have people coming in from New Mexico/Colorado/and Florida to compete. We will make selections in March I believe. got to "match" teams up. Yes it is!! The guy snuck into the photoshoot. Nobody noticed until the photo was developed, and NOBODY could identify him! He was photoshopped out of the photo later.
