Default Tr3650 ?

Hey i was wondering if anyone here knew off the top of their heads how much fluid the TR3650 takes my damn manual doesn't have the 3650 only the T-5 and T-45. I"m sure I can figure it out just don't want to have to make 10 trips to the store to get teh fluid... thanks

Im pretty sure it takes the same fluid as the t 45, because they basically the same trans

i know what fluid type it takes its any auto trans fluid so i'm using the royal purple syncromax... but i was wondering on the quanity? sorry for the confusion

IIRC the 3650 should take a gallon and change (4+qts).

thats pretty funny cause I found a spec where it said it took 8 pints/4 quarts. Thanks for the info

look up the tsb for the 3650. I think if you do a search on the mach1 forums there is something about it on there. The tsb was for the fluid level in the 3650. I know that isn't much help but if you look it up, it is very specific on the type and amount of fluid. Good luck.

3.4 qts should do the trick. It won't hurt if you do fill it up to 4 qts (found out about the TSB after I did my change) but shifting into 2nd sometimes doesn't happen.

Your car should take 3L of fluide with the new TSB to keep the noise down.

Dustin is right....3L or 3.17 quarts. Call Tremec and they will tell you the same thing. If you want to have your tranny shift like a dream use the "sauce". I used this combo and the tranny is much much better.
