Default 25mm Wheel Spacers installed. 56k fridge run time.

This is before the spacers. Notice that the back wheels are sucked in a bit. This is a 98 cobra axle with 17x9 95R rims and 275/40/17 tires. I picked up the spacers for 70 bones from a friend of mine BNIB. He's also going to give me jobber on my new MM K-member and a few other parts that will appear with the new 5.4L. Car is almost done.

The axle belonged to a guy that worked at Maximum Motorsports before I got it so it had a lot of work done. One of the nice bits was that they'd already cut the lugs to make way for the 30mm spacers that the previous owner used. I used 25mm spacers but they were still a quick 10 minute install. I wouldn't have had to cut the lugs anyway as my wheels have big scallops between the lug holes which made room for just about any protrusion but it was nice nonetheless.

Total install time was about 10 minutes. I got a little more cornering smoothness out of it. It's a little more linear as it approaches the limit. Fortunately the limit is so far out there that I'll probably not be seeing it all that often. Every time I try to get the rear end to step out on a hard turn the car just turns and scoffs at the attempt to break traction.

that's frost hippie. It was 38 degrees when I took the pic.

thanks though. It's finally back to looking like it's all the way a 99+. That sucked in look just didn't make me happy.

you'll rub. you can get MM's new 1/2" spacer (about 13mm) and it'll be just as far as you can take it without bad rubbing. I'd probably roll the outer fender lip just in case though. The 1/2" will really make your rear wheels stand out nicely though.
