those comp cams should compliment your BRAND NEW STARTER AND DURALAST BATTERY that you just added in your mod list. im sure youll be able to squeeze out an extra few ponies with those two.

now im saving for the rousch stage 3 front bumper. im gettn hood and front bumper painted and installed by a friend who works for cadillac for 300 bucks. so as soon as i come around 755 my stuff is put on.

p.s. that duralast battery and brand new starter weigh less than the average battery and starter. its all about weight reduction man. less weight= quicker 1/4. ask any ricer. currently im on weight reduction stage 1 but i was thinkn about upgrading to stage 4 where u take out the engine to free up some front end weight. less drag on the front tires. u kno

ha ha....well, get those cams installed, then get some long tube headers and a good tune and you'll be right there with me.....maybe not the torque, but you'll be close. I'm going to do the intake spacer, which does wonders for machs, and maybe an Accufab TB and then build up the rear end so I can get power to the ground better.

i bought the hood from mt because it was 550 or something like and i bought the day before they added the shipping charges while using the americanmuscle 10% discount code so i paid 503.10 for the hood shipped.

yep. 99-04 have glass hoods stock... with significant metal support structure underneath. they still weigh a damn ton. if you want light weight hoods, the CF hoods are the way to go.
