I love Chevelles. Undoubtedly the greatest musclecar of all time in my book. I am trading or selling that one. I have wanted a red '70 model since I was 12. I'm either going to sell it and put the money towards a 70 or trade it for a 70.

LOL, that's right. I'm not a ford hater. The only Fords I have ever really liked is the 99-04 mustang saleen. The red escort in the background of the chevelle pic is my brother's daily driver. My daily driver is a 2001 Ford Focus.

Here's the focus.
I have a newbie question about the Saleens. Why is it I have seen some of them sell for ~$16k and some sell ~$30k. I know there are S/C versions and all that stuff, but those 2 figures were from non s/c versions of the same year model. I have been thinking about getting one, but I have a lot of learning to do first. Is there more to it than just s/c vs. no s/c?

Chevelle FTW! After I sold my truck last year I was going to buy a Chevelle but figured I would be responsible and put all that money towards my Mustang loan and treat myself to the rims and tires. It was all gone in one day. But I will have a Chevelle one day. I figured I have plenty of time..no need being in debt right now.

Replica
S281
SC281
The 16K one was more than likely a replica (A GT with all Saleen parts, that someone built themself).
The 30k for a non s/c one is retty pricey, unless it's one that had been sitting in a garage since new and only has a couple of miles on it.
If you look around enough you should be able to find a SC281 for around 23-26k. but just make sure it's an original SAleen and not a replica.
BTW: Very nice collection of cars.

Floppy, I sent you an email.
1 Bad S, The vette is a 1966. Red with silver interior. It is a beautiful car. It is all original with a super-rare color combination and even more rare 327 with a 3 speed manual trans. He is dropping in a 468ci tri-power big-block. He actually drives it sometimes and is scared of breaking the original engine. That would suck.
