Are those rims a special color or something for the anniversary? Thought they were, so I dunno if he could get a deep dish without painting them.

Yea...they are the 40th anniversary edition bullits. I'd hate to replace them until they get out of shape.

They are 8". Got em from Rallystripes, recommended to me by Slappy (think he had a name change though). They weren't really that hard to put on but it takes time and you need to be EXTREMELY PATIENT. You might want to have some help for the longer pieces. I screwed up a little in a couple of places but its not noticable. I still have not installed the pin stripes yet though.

I was thinkin about doin that for a while but i got impatient and wanted to hurry up and get my stripes on. Do you think it would look a lot better? I just dont really want to spend too much money gettin it painted.

i agree w/ Lance....it wouldnt look right...the chin spoiler has a history behind it...so painting it would be covering up the history....imo

[QUOTE=Jack The Ripper]Damn dude she looks HOT!!!!!!!!!! Props on the color selection for stripes, EVERYONE wants to do black, personally i think dark stripes on light color cars (silver, yellow, white) and light stripes on dark colors (red blue black etc)
What are those silver? White?

They are the silver ones. It seemed like they would look the best on a dark red color. They look better than i thought they would when i got them. Thanks for the compliments.

Here are some old pics of my stripes. MY suggestions is to try to do one continous stripe including the chin spoiler and letters in the back. The way to mold the letters is by using a blowdryer and heating it up, it will be well worth the effort. I took 8 hours and I did not take as much time as I would of since I it was to see if I like the look or not. Since my paint got all messed up in the hurricane My stripes will be painted on but will look exactly as in the pics.

So, on those stripes, are they specifically cut for the bends in your car or do they like stretch over the bends. Like for instance, on the center of the hood where it dips in, if the stripes were made straight then they wouldnt turn out straight on the outsides once you put them over the bends, because it would have to cover a little more area climbing up the bend. I am thinking about trying it myself. I am very meticulous and good with designing and stuff like that, so i think i could do it. Any more suggestions on putting them on?
