Default New mustang a friend of my dads got

A friend of my dads owns the local Ford dealership, and is good friends with the head salesman...and yea this is what the head salesman purchased. He's just gonna leave it in the showroom for a little while then trailer it home since he doesnt really plan on driving it, jus want to be able to tell and show people he owns a GT500. My girl and i went by Friday and looked at it....it's autographed by Carrol Shelby and the 2 guys who built the engine!

Yea I know they are all signed but they all usualy have a little plate with the names stamped, this is signed on the dash, all three of the names in a row in black sharpie. I dont know why he's gonna make it a trailer queen, the dealership owner himself even said he'd be out driving it. Other than that it would be a waste for $48k.

Yeah, this car is going to be in mass production, nothing really collectable about it. He is going to be wasting years of his life missing out on the joy that 450+HP can bring. I knew someone who thought the Mach 1 was going to be a collectors item. He bought it brand new and kept it until he found out they were making them in '04 too. He sold it two years after he bought it with 835 miles for $21K.

From what i understand by the badge inside the car they are only producing i think it was like 7,000 of the gt500's. Thats the whole reason on him investing into buying it being a collectors car. Altho the dealerships owner, well his son is Robert Patrick....IHRA drag racer and he's doing a GT500 shell drag car lol.
