Im j/k guys I just wanted to show off my new pup that my GF talked me into getting. He is full jack russle terrier and 8 weeks old. His name is Harley.

Edit: but it's because they have so much energy that you need to exercise the crap out of them or they get destructive. Other than that they are great dogs

 

Thats why God made them so cute, so when they chew up every damn thing you own you dont kill em.

congrats man...i really really really miss my puppy and i have only been at school for a week...my mom just had his nuts cut off lol

 

He has been a really good pup so far, yeah he likes to chew on ****, the most anoying chew tow so far has been my flip flops that I keep beside the back door. Lil ****** will bite into em and sling em back and forth like crazy! The only other thing thats making me REALLY mad is he wont stop pissing and shitting in the house. When I first got him here, it took him all of 1 hour to fully learn how to use the dog door to go out back. Now?. . . . He just goes wherever he feels like going. I caught him pissing in the floor today so I spanked his lil but and put him in the back yard. Im gonna keep at it though, this is the first pet I have ever had that was actually pure bred, all the others when I was younger were muts. . . but they were GOOD muts though. LOL

 

Yea the pissing in the housee thing was killin me when we got our boxer a few weeks ago but now she goes outside. Kennel training makes it easier if it gets to bad.

I love that 2nd pic, looks like he's so innocent. A friend of mine has a Jack thats about 2yrs old. That little bastard can jump 4ft. straight up in the air! Ive neverseen anything like that.

 

what your supposed to do is spank them, put their nose near what they did wrong, yell no at them and confine them to a space. then about 5 mins later pet them and not hold a grudge. this is how we trained my dog and it took him about 3-4 days to learn to paw at the doors.

the reason you pet them and play 5 mins after is to let them learn that your the alpha, not them.

I saw a jack russ, chillin on a boogie board at crab island this weekend. It was hillarious, the little ****** could ride, lol. Sweet dog too.
