Default Subs Are In!!

YUP..just finished installing my subs tonite....still gotta tighty up and make a new box but they're officially in the car and powered up..souds awesome....but looks like the trunk is off limits for a lil while....o well..its worth it....here some pix of how tight a fit they are....o and btw...they are sony 12" subs outta my old taurus....

cool, I used to have a 2000 taurus with subs and the same amp as you, still got them layin around cant figure out if i want to put them in or sell, but yeah that is a real tight fit

i had a 1992 gl...85000 miles....nice car....

neways....put them in man....its worth it..i thought the stock speakers had enuf in them to produce bass to keep me content...but noooooooooo.....its a whole different ball game there.....and make it so they come out when u want to race...

Im thinkin of getting an idash dvd player and selling my sub box and one of my subs and getting a smaller box and just have one sub cuz i got nitrous, not enough room, but i really do miss the bass

even a lil 8 or 10 inch sub works wonders...and dont crash w/ that dvd player

figure out how to hide those wires so its look a little cleaner but nice install

when i get my custom box..my amp is gonna go on top of the box and the wires will be zip tied to the speaker rack..i hope..but once i get there it will be awesome!!! cept hte lack of trunk space now

ahh that should look real nice man yeah there is noi room in my trunk either and i ahve 2 10 in kickers that bang like crazy but i mounted my amp to my back seat that how i get away with my wires there all hidden under the seat =)

Dont mount your amp to your box, you dont want to put holes in your box, and when the sub is going you will hear the amp raddle

Looks familiar... exactly how i have mine setup, sept my amp is behind my subs. Looks good. But there still isnt alot of airspace to be blasten those things unless you have your seats down constantly.
