Default 21lb injectors

I have a 2000 mustang gt with the 19's. Would the 21's plug into the same wire harness/connector thats on the car now(stock)? I have vt stage 2 n/a cams and full bolt ons and plan on getting heads in the next year so should i upgrade the fuel injectors now or will the 19's handle the cams with no lean problems? Thanks Randy

what kinda' HP are you going to make? 19's are good for 300 to @325...

now, there are no 21lbs injectors aval from Ford, thats some internet rumor....the newer cars have a 19lb injector that, thru the ECM "bumps" up the lb rating from 19 to 21.....

well rounding up to be safe i would say 280 at the wheels. So thats about 320ish at the crank. I'm just making sure i wont run lean at higher rpms. Should my tuner know how to "bump" up the 19's? Or do you think the basic 19's would be fine?

your tuner should be able to adjust for the added power, what fuel pump are you running?
