Default PI intake manifold and parts

Randy,

I recently purchased complete PI heads for my 98 GT and a bare intake PImanifold

You told me there was a install kit for NPI heads for the PI intake for $80, is this the same kit or do i need somthing else?

basically i need the following prices:
-head install kit
-any parts needed for install so i have it all

no the $80.00 was for the parts to install the PI intake, if you need all the parts to install Heads & Intake, you're looking at @$500.00

holy crap!

what all is involved other than the head changing kit ( ford racing is like 105-120) and the gaskets and parts for the PI manifold?
( its romeo heads mounted to a romeo engine if that helps)

appreciate it,
Will

well 1st off, we dont sell the frpp anymore and the frpp kit is NOT a complete kit for changing the heads, was NOT designed for the PI headswap, does NOT contain ANY intake gaskets, front cover gaskets, crank seal, o-rings, coolant tube & nipple, cam cover gaskets, the correct alt brkt and more parts needed for the headswap also the frpp kit does NOT contain the best head gaskets aval from Ford.
we only sell genuine Ford parts here and ALL our parts carry a 12/12 warranty, Frpp parts have ZERO warranty

very good to know, I definately want quality head gaskets that wont blow out ( my taurus did that, major bummer)

so for $500 I will have every part and gasket i need for install, assuming i have these parts:
NPI romeo engine (11 bolt valve cover)
PI heads complete with cams and valves etc
PI intake Manifold w/ metal crossover ( w/ no gaskets or coolent tube etc)

I'll be giving you a call in the next week or so for an order once my paycheck is deposited LOL

that is correct, if you have access to a fax, I can send you a quote wth all the part # and prices, so you can see what your getting.

also my parts list for the head/intake swap will have more parts on it than anyone.
just because I know how it is tobe doing a job like this on the weekend only to find-out thers a part you dont have and you need it to finish-up and your local dealer doesn't have or the parts store doesn't have.
so you might have extra stuff left over from what I sell you but you 'll have up to 12 months to return ANY unsed parts, I'd rather you have more then you need then be caught wthout.

the mounts are for a 99-04 2v 4.6 and the alt bracket should be generic across 99-04 but if not... let's shoot for 03.

Randy, Again i really appreciate you taking time to answer my questions, as my local ford dealer, about 1.5 miles from my house, are a bunch of clueless ******

I do have a fax at work: 770-982-9125 please address fax to Will (me)

I am smart enough to know this install is over my head and am going to have a well known mustang mechanic/builder in my area install my heads for me if i provide the parts.

got it , thanks!

By the way, on average how much of this may i not need (pricewise) and the reciept says no returns after 30 days??

Are you getting and IAC's for a 1998 Gt soon? i got one from autozone and after reading some other threads about funny high idle i think im going to replace it with a new OEM one from you can it started acting up again. ( a steady 2k rpm at rest in the drive through is kinda embarrasing lol)

I can get IAC's inna' days time if need-be. the return thing is good to 1 year by me and some things you may not need are gaskets. like the frt cvr, cam cover, upper plenum. stuff you may be able to save off your old engine if your carefull
