Default Tensioner problems on a '99

Gonna start off by saying I'm not very car savvy so if my terms are off my bad lol. Anyway Have a '99 3.8L my tensioner isn't holding and tension at all.

But anyway theres a little bracket behind the tension that shattered and I found pieces of it in my drive way. It appears to be the only thing visibly wrong with it. I was wondering if that could possibly be the reason it isn't applying any pressure.

If you look close enough you can see that the bottom of the part is missing.

I guess basically I need to know how I should go about fixing it.

Ask Randy https://mustangboards.com/the-parts-desk/ to see how much a new one is. That tensioner is what makes the belt tight and by the looks of it it has lost its spring LOL.
