Default randy-question for you!

i own a 99 cobra which use to be supercharged, the car was stolen and recovered, the supercharger and preditor used to tune the car were both stolen, now i m stuck with the supercharger tune in my computer, i called up the local dealerships but they said i have to buy a new computer from them and then they will reporgram it to factory specs. I want to know if they are trying to rip me off, if not, then wat are my options, and could i also get a quote on the oem 99 cobra computer, i believe they had a recall on them so the calibration changed. thanx for ur help.

There was no tuning done using the chip, everything was done on the ECC using diablo sport preditor. The car runs but eventually turns off when it comes to a stop, if it's rolling the engine stays on, it throws out a lot of smoke because it's running rich as hell.
