ok, this is what happent. I ordered the Mustang V6 Exhaust adapter kit for the (99-04 V6) and when i got it i read the sales receipt and it said it was the right part. I took a quick look at it and it looked like the right part. So today i went with my dad to the dealership so he could put it on. Then what do you know, you sent me the wrong part. It even said on the little piece of smashed up paper on the botton of the box with the drawn up instructions that i didn't see before word for word "KIT TO ADAPT 94-95 MUSTANG V8 KAT*-BACK TO V6". So my dad even had the car on the lift to see if there was any possible way that the instructions were just wrong...but no. The h-pipe wasn't even close. So now what do I do to sent this back to you and you send me my RIGHT PART so i can finally put my freakin exhaust on!!!!!!!

*and yes it was spelled Kat

Ill send you a return tag when I get into the office on monday to recall that one and get you a fresh, correct one, right after that.

 

How long should all this take before its all said and done and I get the right part?

Keep an eye on your e-mail for a return tag for the wrong kit. Ill send you the correct kit today as well. All you need to do is print the return tag off of your e-mail (its an image file) and place it on the incorrect item, then hand it to your UPS guy or drop it off at any UPS drop off point.

 

OMG!! Did you sent me the one for (94-98V6)!!! Thats what it said in my email when I just checked it. I need the one for the (99-04V6)!!!

That tracking number that you received (begins with 1Z384T0T90) is the return tags tracking number. Completely different from the correct kits tracking number.

You will see your new tracking number, along with a new order number, arrive in your e-mail later today.

ok,thanks. I got the h-pipe today and from what I can see it's the right part....but one question. This time on the instruction sheet it said it's for a '99-'01 3.8L, but i have an '04 3.9. Does anyone know if it'll work because my dad whos a ford tech is outa town untill saturday and i don't really want to wait untill saturday to find out is isn't gonna work.

 

I would think it would. Only difference that I know of is that the cylinders were bore out slightly. Exhaust I believe is the same.
