Default Ok, now for shocks/struts

Ok, now since Ive decided on the H&R sports, I need some shocks and struts to go with them. Im looking seriously at the Tokico HP blues. Anyone with experience, are they a good shock, and also, are they the same as the Mach 1 struts/shocks? Thanks guys. LOL, and you thought you were done answering my questions... :director:

H&R's  The KYB shocks and struts sold here would be great and so would the Tokico's.

i suggest tokico 5way adjustable drag struts. they are adjustable from a nice springy drag setting down to a good handling setting. the drag setting miight come useful at the track since the lowering springs cost you some traction on the launch. i use these struts and love them. they are a bit pricey though. as for shocks, i stil use stockers.

Yea, I dont drag race at all really, and just want something that hugs the corners. I just figured the tokicos would be nice and Ive read that they are a good strut/shock used with the H&R sports.

Well, since I have the Steeda sports, do you guys think the Mach 1 shocks/struts will do me fine? Or what should I use.

I bought the Mach 1 but I haven't installed them yet, that is going to happen this weekend. From all the research I did it looked like for the money this was the way to go. I didn't want adjustable shocks, b/c I knew I wouldn't adjust them so no need to pay for it!

I can let you know how they are next week!

I bought front and rear KYB AGX 8 way adjustables on ebay for a helluva lot less than anywhere I have seen. I paid $360 with shipping.

They also have bilstein or tokico illuminas for $450 on ebay or the tokico d spec for a bit more $$.

They Tokico HP are nearly identical to the mach 1/bullit shocks/struts which are also similar to the KYB G2. The KYB are 250 shipped on ebay.

If I was going to spend the $$ I would go Bilstein, they are the best but you will pay more for them.

i've heard good things about the KYB AGX's. i also know from having tokico illuminas on my other 2 cars that these are very good struts/shocks as well.

can't go wrong with either.
