Howdy ya'll
Howdy,
I'm 17 years old and originally from Odessa, Texas. I'm new to the forums, I'm looking to purchase my first car this weekend hopefully, most likely at the latest next weekend. I've worked very hard and saved lots of money, more than most teenagers over the last 2 years and now that I'm finally at the point that I may spend my hard earned cash I'm looking to learn some more about the car I'm going to buy once I get it Right now I'm looking at an 2002 Mustang (Silver) and a 2002 Mustang "Deluxe" (Yellow). I'm really looking foward to it My twin brother also is purchasing his car today, its a 2000 Chevy Camaro

30-45 days seems a little long. A couple of years back when I was looking to buy a used Mustang, my dealership called me back 2 days after I stopped by with several cars in my price range and specs...

Yea, I'm deffinitly still looking around. I assume that 30 days is like just a max, I was talking to my dad about it, and said what if this guy doens't find me one and we miss the other ones we're looking at waiting on this guy, and he said he would be willing to bet he can get me one with in a week or so. The camaro is a absolute steal, beutiful car, he did a very good job finding it and gave us a GREAT price for its shape and year. We took it for a test run last night, and it is absolutly great looking, however it seemed to "bog" down around 60 mph. We took it back to the dealership, and he said he thinks its nothing big and would see what it was. Today they ran some test with it on the computer, and found the cadalic convertor was bad, once thats fixed the car is perfect. I'll post pics on Friday / Saterday when we pic it up. I deffintly think he'll be able to do good by me if he can pull off a mustang as nice as my bro's car. If not, I'll just have to go look elsewere.
