New member... Advice on modding...
Hello All, I am a new member on the forum. I bought a brand new 2004 SVT cobra last November and am just now getting around to working on it. I want advice on what any one knows about modding this car and keeping the warranty valid. I already ordered the SLP catback exhaust (which is on back order of course) and a Demolet tunable cold air intake. I know I am fine with that, but is there anything else I can do as far as horsepower goes that will not void the warranty? Also, are there mods such as pulleys, underpulleys, throttle bodies... etc. that can be removed with no evidence it was ever there, so I could still use the warranty if need be
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have been reading alot of the forum and you all know what you are talking about.

I guess I could go talk to the service department some more. They already told as long as I don't chop off the 4 cats off the headers, I can screw with exhaust all I want. I am sure the intake is fine too. I just felt awkward saying "what can I get away with" to the dealership that I bought it from...
1FastGT..... thanks for the advice.... I will look into the double decker spoiler... but I want to see pics of yours first.... haha
*** I guess I didn't really introduce myself very well either so here ya go. My name is Luke. I am an air traffic controller living in Las Vegas, NV. I enjoy friends, bars, and gambling. I bought this Cobra cause I thought if I bought a powerful enough car, I could hold off on buying another sport bike (since my last bike accident almost killed me leaving me on morphine unable to move for a month). Now almost a year later, I am pretty much recovered from that accident and ready to work on my Cobra and enjoy it for a long time.
Feel free to holla at me, especially if you live in Vegas....

Pulley it up, theyll never know...lol. Welcome to the boards, I think the cobra should keep you satisfied, and if not, you can always just put on a Kenne Bell blower and have 600 hp at the rear wheels. Definately get a new shifter, like an MGW or Steeda Triax. They make the car fun to drive again. (As if its not already...)

You have no idea how bad I want to swap the supercharger pulley and install an underpulley.... I could be pushing 500 horse running 14 PSI for about 200 dollars with my exhaust and intake I just ordered. I have had alot of people tell me I could take it off and they would never know for the warranty. I have also had a performance shop owner tell me they would know right away that I was running more than factory PSI on the blower.
That is one thing I was hoping that some one might actually have some experience with that on this site....
I did however order the demolet CAI wich Kenne Bell insists on running with thier blower.... cant wait to hook it up!!!
