We love driving our Mustangs and yes people do stop and look as you drive by.
Mustang's are not as rare in the UK as you may think, we have alot of car clubs and dealers selling new and used cars, we are now also getting alot of stang's being imported from Japan to the UK.

We belong to the Mustang owners club of Great Britain. There is about 1000 members and we have alot of meetings and show across the UK. Check out our web site at:

http://www.mocgb.net/

The biggest problem of owning a Muatang in the UK is the price of petrol at about 0.96 pence per litre which is £4.37 per gallon (UK) which works out at $6.59 per gallon (US)

So what do you guys pay per gallon????

JESUS! Here in Texas, Price per gallon is at a record high at 2.50 Regular. 2.70 Premium. I know in some places in the US it's higher.

Are they expensive to buy over there? Here a brand new 2005 GT Loaded is about $27,000 MSRP.

Nice looking Stangs, well kept. I guess we can't complain to you about our record high gasoline prices since they are less than half of what you pay.

To anwser your questions:

James, yes those are the real plates, but I had them made to the same size as the US plates.

Venom, yes they are the original headlights, why? and both cars are tucked up in a garage and don't come out if its raining.

MT's, As for being $27000 dollars we wish they were as that works out to about £14900 pounds, but the cheapest new 05 GT is £24000 pounds which is about $43500 dollars, which is alot of cash. You guys could buy a saleen for that money. Have a look here:

http://www.atlanticsportscars.com/stock/current.html

So has you can see not a cheap hobby but alot more fun than any ricer
