Lightbulb I have a Mustang, and it's kicking my ***!

What's up? Just got a '96 GT about 2 months ago. Standard. Last owner did alot to it, can't tell what most of it is. So I'll probably post some pics to see if some of you can tell me what it is. lol. Oh, if you're wondering why I put my Mustang is kicking my ***. One word....Insurance.

If anyone wants to send me money to help insure my Mustang, sweet. :nike:

You could always contact him and ask him to email a set of upgrades he did to the car.

Okay, I have been trying to upload my pics for the last 2 weeks. It just doesn't want to take 'em. So I'll continue trying, if you still give a shat.

Is it giving you an error? They should be in ".jpg" or ".bmp" format

It will continue to be expensive for a while. I'd shop around for other insurance companies and make sure you stay out of trouble.

Default Pics of my engine

Here are two pics of my engine. If you can tell me the things you see, it'll be cool. If you want me to get closer pictures...I can do that too.

Thats all I see too. Looks like a BBK version...that's what I have.

I agree with Matt, I would check with the previous owner if possible.

It's not lowered, but check the suspension stuff. With the exhaust, check to see if it has 6 cats. Mufflers will usually have their brand stamped into them. Gears should be 3.27s, and if they were changed, you'd be lucky if the previous owner did the right thing and stamped a new tag on the diff cover. You could always pull the passenger side kick panel to see if there's an aftermarket chip plugged into the EEC. Really, the only things you can tell from pics of the outside of the engine would be intake stuff...CAI, MAF, TB, plenum, and intake manifold.

If you can get us some pics of the engine as a whole, we could tell you if you had U/D pullies and caster/ camber plates too, but thats about it.

BTW, go to www.photobucket.com ...its free and you can upload pics to that. It gives you IMG tags underneath your pics that you can just cut and paste into your posts. Makes it a whole lot easier....here's my album:

Cool, I've been trying to get ahold of the previous owner. No luck. But thanks for your help.

post some more pics. All I see is the CAI, Bullitt rims, Strut Tower Brace and not sure but those may be FRPP Ignition wires. We need some more pics from different angles. Also, it wouldn't hurt to try taking a pic or two from underneath the car (can tell you if you have aftermarket suspension work done. And a better pic of the brakes... Then send a pic or two of the interior.

USMC stang, you also have a Plenum, MAF, battery, and yellow top (24#?) injectors. It's easier to tell these things if you have the right angle on the pic.

LOL!!!. I know! I put them all on myself...cept for the MAF and injectors...those are stockers, lol. The battery's just a replacement

My picture was added for a reference for his assumed BBK CAI. :toothy9:

The strut tower brace comes from the factory on 96s.
