Default parting out the beast

It's got a busted valve spring and I don't have time or money to fix it enough to sell it so I'm parting it out.

These are all top shelf parts. Most are used only very lightly. I wasn't gentle on the car but it was built for that sort of thing. Exhaust is spoken for but I might separate the cat-back if anyone wants a 3" custom cat-back into 3.5" borla pro-xs mufflers with turndowns that's intended for a completely custom exhaust setup (aka, weld-in)

stage 1 heads w/ comp xe270 cams 800
HPS 5.4L intake manifold 600

forged bottom end 2000
3650 trans 500
TPS kevlar clutch/fidanza aluminum fw/BBK quad/BBK adjus 400
MM CC-Plates 125

MM Rear Bilstein CO kit w/300# springs 250
MM offset front arms w/ delrin bushings 300
MM rear lower arms w/ poly and spherical bushings 180
30lbs injectors 120
CPR fuel rails w/braided hoses 180
Bilstein shocks 180

assorted Autometer gauges (6 of em) 200

98 cobra rear axle w/ 3.55's, hardened axles, no brakes. 600
mach 460 stereo 200
corbeau GT8 seats & brackets (a little rough) 100
SCT Pro-Racer software 300
GT alternator 75
PS pump 50
ac compressor 120
water pump 40
3.5" CAI 75
80mm MAF 50
99 Cobra front bumper cover 300
v6 rear bumper cover 300
FRPP hood pin set 30
5.4L 2v Front cover 75

used 03 cobra pump 40
new lube-able Tie rod ends 30
IRS rear upper brackets 100
spare & jack 100
interior pieces <make offer>
Steeda shifter (1 of em) for tr3650 100 each.
H&R 25MM wheel spacers 70

You pay shipping + 3.5% paypal fee (paypal fees waived if you send it as a gift instead of choosing "goods"). Multi-item discounts are available but don't count on me giving these away. They're priced well as it is and most prices are fairly firm but feel free to make reasonable offers.

I want my goddamned 2012 Boss. Help me get there by taking all my bad *** parts.

Hopefully they'll make it in grabber blue. Always wanted a boss in grabber blue. Since I can't EVER have a boss 429 in that color, I'll take the next best thing.

Figure 135 shipped. You may have to swap slip-yokes but the length should be identical. As far as I know the yokes are the same. In any case, you'll get the one that's on it.

PM replied. At the 300 price just the calipers and pads and brackets. I'm tossing in the stainless braided lines. The rotors are also available.

You know... I think it might work. It's "for" a live axle car but thinking about it the shocks bolt up in the same relative place and way on the bottom and identically on top. The only real difference should be the spring rates. Maximum uses the 2.25" ID springs for the rear on their cobra kits which I have on mine because they also use them on their live axle kits. Call up maximum and tell them you're swapping to an IRS and you want to know if your live axle kit will work with your IRS. As far as I can tell there's no real difference at all... it's just a sleeve and a collar and a spring and a perch-hat (and some assorted bobbles). So, I say, yeah it'll probably work... I can't see why not. Call them though and ask just in case.

Is it FRPP or another brand?

Either way as long as it's balanced and in good shape I'm good for it. LMK when you get it off the car.

I emailed them as thats their "preferred" method of contact. So we'll see. I forgot to ask them, but I'll get your opinion too. Is the spring rate on those pretty stiff? I mean, would it be unbearable on a street driven car?

300 on a torque arm car is pretty firm. I did the research for you and it's looking like a 350#/500# F/R is a nice streetable setup and if you're more into corner carving than that then go 400#/600#. 600lbs springs in the rear. IRS man... While you're at it, if you haven't replaced the cradle bushings with poly or delrin/aluminum you ought to. It'll wring that last little bit out of it and solve some of the wheel-hop. Maybe save you a center section someday.

No. Didn't get a chance to look either. Had to kill one of my dogs yesterday. The whole day was pure liquid fat-bastard **** in a coffee mug. It's either a Griggs Racing or a FRPP. I had 2 that I kept over the years but I don't recall which one is on the car. Pretty sure it's a Griggs.

On another note, the partout is being paused (I know, I'm sorry). I have a potential buyer for the whole car and I gotta give him till this weekend.

Well, then I wish you best of luck!!! I'd much rather see you sell the car as a whole finally, than to part it out. Even if I'm on the losing end this way .

Who's got cash for what they want?

Colin, let me know when to send the $$ don't want to send cash until I know that you're ready to start tearing her down. Also, what brand are the tie rod ends?

brakes are 2 piston baer, sold to rkaz.

driveshaft is reserved for WNracing. I'll get a look at it asap and try and get a pic to you. You wanted something specific so I want to make sure you get what you wanted.

shocks and struts have less than 12K miles on them. They're bilsteins. I'd rather sell them with the coil over kit and the CC plates as an assembly. They're the single hardest part to remove from the car other than maybe the headers.

Making some package deals to save me hassles:

5.4 air&fuel complete assembly. Comes with:
HPS intake, 78MM BBK TB/Plenum, CPR rails, -8 feed hose, -6 filter, -8 crossover hose, 30lbs injectors, 80MM MAF (6-wire), 3.5" CAI. Includes all the clamps and fasteners I used. Regular price $1175+shipping, package deal 1000+shipping. That's a 175 dollar savings. HPS intake has rear coolant crossover already installed using -6AN braided stainless hose and aluminum fittings.

do you want both C/O kits or just the front?

You should take the A-arms too... you definitely want to. You'll have to slightly modify the k-member to use them but i'll send you pics that show you how. It's easy.
