tuner questions
#3
I have the SCT Xcalibrator 2 which I bought from my dyno tuner (DynoSpeed Racing). The way the hand held tuner works is pretty simple. You plug it into your OBDII port which is located in the driver side area under the steering wheel and to the right a bit. You have to have a tune loaded on the tuner, which your dyno tuner will make or you will have a mail order tune where you tell someone your mods and they make the tune based off those mods, it's more generic. This is saved on your PC and using the programs available from SCT you can make some adjustments yourself and safe the file to the tuner using a USB cable. You then hook the tuner to your car and load the tune onto the car and your done.
I gained 13 rwhp and 22 rwtq from my tune alone, I was also running about 20% too lean.. here's the graph
