Press the clutch in and see if it goes away. Mine ticks once in a while, but i guess it's something with the clutch since it goes away when i depress the clutch.

Thats the clutch pedal vibrating, it sounds like a clicking/ticking sound.

At first i thought it was something with the drivers side catalytic converter, but some people said it may be my throw out bearing.

Well there is a TSB out that states:
Some vehicles, equipped with the Romeo built 4.6L 2V engine, with an "ENGINE BUILD DATE" prior to 9/17/2003 may exhibit an engine tick noise that is present at all temperatures during idle. The noise may be emanating from the valve guide area in the cylinder head. The noise may be more prevalent in the front wheel well area and may not be heard with the hood open.
This is what mine seems like, however my valve cover say 261103. I used to work at a ford dealer, quit about a year and a half ago. I know what this TBS sounds like. we replaced a hand full of heads not just on mustangs because of this problem. Now what I would like to know is if anyone has had a problem with their car doing this that has a engine that was built after 9/17/03.

Suggestion: If your riding around in a vehicle that is still covered, check out all the TSBs out on it and get them fixed if need be. Examples: Anyones center air vents rattle? Anyone with a manual trans feel they have a 1-2 shift clash or hard shift? Front end noises anyone? Most TSBs effect all cars that they aply to. They wont fix it unless you tell them to. FIGHT for a better product, You paid for it.
