Default Intake riser?

can I put a spiral intake riser on my otherwise stock 4.6 and still close the hood? Is there enough clearance?

Thanks. I also have a question about exhaust. Are there aftermarket systems that are as quiet as the stock system?

Magnaflows are quiet, but Ill be honest, no one is stupid, they WILL know you drive a v8, so you may as well make your presence known.
