Question Which 5spd Transmission Do I have???

I know this sounds like a stupid question. But I just wondering how can I tell what 5spd transmission do i have. I have a 2003 GT. Please don't grill me too bad this is my first Mustang. I think ive read that some GT's have the
T-5 and some have the t-45.

1996-1999 Mustang GT's and Cobras were equipped with t-45 transmissions. 1995 and below had the T-5 as far as I know.

Your car is equipped with the TR-3650

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info, sorry to ask such a newbie question. This is my first domestic, I've been in the BMW world for the last 6 years. Now i can get a good deal on a short throw shifter on ebay.

DIVORCE !!! It sucks, I lost my 2002 330I Motorsports Package , the car was in her name!!! But I can't complain I really love the all out Torque and tire smoke on demand power of my Mustang, plus I have a few friends who are big domestic car lovers. they pretty much helped me realize that for the money you can't beat the late model Mustangs or Camaros. Maybe one day, Iill again have the pleasure of a two income household. BMW's are nice and they can be scary fast but they cost a fortune to own and maintain let alone mod.

Default cheap shifters

I picked up a Steeda "previously installed" shifter directly from Steeda. I think if you go to their website it was a section called "Franks garage" it was $75 or so and came with all the hardware and directions and the only way you could tell it wasn't new was a little bit of silicon still stuck on the base..
