Default Exhuast question?

I just had new 3 1/2 in. tailpipes installed about A month ago and now the inside part of the pipes are rusty loooking. Is that normal? Thanks for any info!

If they are chrome yeah its normal> what you need to do is go get some high temp black spray paint and srap the insides black with it and it wont happen again or atleast for awhile.

Or just let the exhuast cover it in black over time. thats what i did one my truck. 3 years with chrome tips living in the Florida keys and they had no rust on them when i sodl it a few months a go.

Unless you have 304SS or better, rust or some pitting is inevitable. So just as post above..its totally normal.

i have the magnaflow for a year and there is no rust.
