Default Exhuast Question....

I was reading somewhere on another Forum about U pipes instead of using an H/X pipe

u pipe is a very distinctive sound but sounds good and they are known for their torque!
Now Ive never heard of a U pipe before and was curious if anyone else has heard of them and know what that are or am I just being played?

Also ever heard of a Z-pipe?
U pipe is played out ****. Z pipe is where it's at now. Keep up with the times fellas.
Not many shops are doing the Z yet....looked at getting one on the vette and it was priced way too high

an A-pipe is better. goes in one and comes out two and plus it has the line in the middle like the H :P but instead of the pipes going striaght they go out in a 45 degree angel, lmao

Let me let you in on some well kept exhaust tech. This is used by some of the fastest mod motor builders in the country.

Todays mod motors flow so much more air into the motor with forced induction, ported cyl. heads. larger camshaft profiles and 116 degree centerlines. When you put more air in you have to take more air out. Simple phyics. Thats where long tube headers, larger dia. pipes and freeer flowing mufflers come into place.

Extenive testing has been done that shows getting the exhaust out of the motor is as important as getting the air-fuel into the motor. Its not about sound, thats only a perk of the biproduct of the non restrictive air flow out.

With all this said, If you aint running "crack" pipes on your mod motor you aint ****. Hope this clears up of the A C D T Z pipe configurations.
