I am planning on putting a built shortblock with ported heads and cams in my car next spring. What are the major differences between the two? (other than its a 5.0) I am looking at the two shortblocks offered by Modular Powerhouse . What kind of horsepower gains will I see with just the shortblock and ported heads? Should I go with a blower cam now since I will be adding boost later or just go with the N/A cams and switch if I want to? How much power will the engine take?
