cai's are junk. I removed my densecharger and installed a simple drop in K&N filter and no silencer. Works just as good. Save yourself some money.

I agree 100%.Worked good for older motor's,not much help with the 4.6.Yes you will read where they claim 10-12hp but that's bull, just trying to sell you something you don't really need but it does look good.

I had the MAC fenderwell(identical to the BBK) and I took it off and put the factory intake back on. Only difference I noticed is I don't hear the same rush of air as before. Runs the same.

I've got the BBK CAI...didn't notice any difference except it looks and sounds cool...It was an open box special from Brothers Performance so I only paid $75 for it.

Ive got a k&n drop in filter and no silencer. Dont get k&n, as they are prone to not filtering correctly, especially when not cleaned and oiled right. Get a fram air hog instead.

I have a JLT ram air intake. I like it. picked up 5 HP after the install.. I know this because BEFORE the intake was added I did a dyno run...and then installed the intake and picked up 5Hp from it. NO Bullshyt either.

Got the BBK just like the guys above post. The kit was well made and fit like a glove, I did notice smoother idle and a slight performace increase. For the price and the difference between platic and chrome, I went with chrome, it will work just fine with any intake upgrades I do in a few weeks also.
