My father was cleaning the vavles on the butterfly side when he decided to hook up the battery and try to turn over the engine. the theft light started flashing and it would not do a thing. but also there is no intake on the car and all hoses that attach to the intake are off. will it be okay or is something else ****ed now?

 

Not a good idea, just turn it over by hand, leave the battery disconnecting so the computer can reset. Did you get one of the writeups from over at Corral? Don't do the job the first time without one.
