Default X Pipe

If you're primarily concerned about show competition, get the Densecharger (a pretty piece of stainless underneath the car will net you exactly Zero points in a judged bling, prep and paint show).

Otherwise, go with the X (though if you keep your car legal, it will cost twice as much as the CAI).

I was goin to just drop in a k & n filter, But The desencharger i saw is a big "plastic" pipe with a big green filter, I was told at a shop that it gives out 8-12 hp PROVEN! So its not some metal pipe that attracts heat! For $149 bucks, so I was just wondering.. And does the x pipe change the exhaust sound much? Does it make it louder, deeper? What??? Does removing the air silencer, DO ANYTHING??

I have full exhaust and I felt a big difference when I put the x pipe on my stang I have now and the v6 I sold before this one. And yes it does give a different tone, and a little more grumble at idle.

Def get the stainless x for va weather. Also, yes, it will change the tone. Should get a lot deeper down low, but it will be louder too. Will love it .

Does anyone know how much gain from an x pipe! Is it in the double digit area?
